Hi Gigis,

I am delighted to tell you about our next event!

Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to attend a maker’s day in Bozeman, Montana with one of my favorite authors, Kelly Corrigan. A group of roughly 150 strangers did some writing, crafting, and singing together. I had planned to dodge the singing part by leaving early or by just mouthing the lyrics. Instead, I stayed and participated. What happened in that room when Cava Menzies directed us was magical. A group of non-singer strangers, united as a choir to sing a soulful rendition of the Beatle’s “With a Little Help from My Friends.” It was a spiritual, healing experience that I can’t quite communicate with words.

The good news is that I don’t actually need to be able to explain the magic to you because … Cava is coming to us!

If you’re thinking, nah, I’m no singer, I’m here to tell you that is doesn’t matter. The beautiful sounds we will create together will not come from your solo performance or mine (Thank God, lol) … it will come from the collective. This experience will be a heartwarming reminder of why community matters.

The world is in a painful state and midlife is unrelenting in its hurt and humbling—so come fill up with us at this joyful, soulful event. You won’t regret it!
